Converting Books from One Format to Another
If you’ve got an ePUB copy of Moby Dick (or other DRM-free books), and you’d prefer to read it on your Kindle, then you can do so using the free Calibre app for your Macintosh, Linux, or Windows computer (see Figure 17–22).

Calibre can convert many formats to other formats, such as .PDF to .Mobi or .Mobi to ePUB. You can also use it to manage wireless syncing between Calibre and the Books WordPlayer apps.
