Beyond Listening
Tablets don’t limit you to listening to the music of others; you can also create your own. Several musical instrument apps allow you to play virtual pianos or other musical instruments, although the quality of the music you create tends more toward novelty than artistry at this time. One free app, Perfect Ear, is designed to train your voice (see Figure 21–16). You can use it to improve your ability to sing notes on key or identify intervals and chords.
