Chapter 10. Alternative Testing Tactics

Up to this point we have analyzed the most common and accessible tactics to implement testing in our projects. However, there are a few missing pieces in our puzzle and with the current versions of the Android SDK (Android 2.3 Gingerbread as of this writing) these features are not yet implemented. Nevertheless, not everything is lost. One of the biggest and strongest benefits of Android is its Open Source nature and the features we are going to exploit here precisely depend on it because we will be using the complete source code to introduce some changes required by what we plan to provide.
