Cover Page

We’ve all been making document cover pages since we were taught to write term papers in junior high. This is nothing new or revolutionary. The proposal cover page exists to introduce the document’s purpose and is a venue for you to introduce your personal or company brand. The cover page contains the same content as the Header/Footer with a few minor and more descriptive additions.

Project Name: This is typically the largest focal point in the layout.

Prepared for: The Header/Footer on the document subpages will include only the client name. However, on here it is often appropriate to include a contact name. “Prepared for ACME Organization as requested by George Smith.” Adding this makes it easy for other people from the potential ...
