Saying that the graphic design industry is competitive is an understatement. Your proposal is often compared that of several other vendors who are all competing to land the project. Making sure that you stand out against your competition is critical. One of the most risky and successful ways to stand out is to provide a Design Strategy in your proposal submission. And when I say Design Strategy, I really mean Comps.
