Simplify battery charging from the USB

Abstract

Two solutions to the USB battery charger problem are shown using the LTC4053, a standalone timer-terminated constant current/constant voltage linear charger. A faster charging system is also described, using the LTC4410 USB power manager in addition to the LTC4053.
