COMPUTING WITH WORDS

“Computing with words”, CWW, is a phrase coined by L.A. Zadeh (1995) during the IFSA′95 Conference. In our proposed construction of concepts for CWW, we have interpreted CWW with two different approaches. These approaches are the result of our application oriented research on fuzzy set theories that were needed to form a sound foundation for two different approaches in industrial applications.

At the end of this book, in Chapter 17, we propose a new axiomatic foundation for CWW.
