Two models of analysis of variance

This chapter is about statistical analysis in certain statistical models referred to as Analysis of Variance (ANOVA). There is a great variety of such models, and their detailed study constitutes an interesting branch of statistics. What is done presently is to introduce two of the simplest models of ANOVA, underline the basic concepts involved, and proceed with the analysis in the framework of the proposed models.
