The what

The three goals of work worth doing, cultures worth belonging to and leaders worth following are true for profit-centred enterprises, not-for-profits, government bodies, volunteer communities, educational faculties and families. My partners and I at Thought Leaders Global think it’s the alignment of these three goals that ties humans together in great endeavour, and creates meaning and significance in life. Many could argue that increasing shareholder value or raising more funds is the overarching goal for a business or charity, and of course this is true. But if raising funds or increasing shareholder value are outcome goals (lags), the focus goals need to be directed towards what you are doing (lead) to achieve these results.
