Adding a step scaling policy

In Add Policy, select Scaling policy type as Step scaling, as shown in the following screenshot.

Specify a Policy name (AutoScaler):

In Execute policy when, select Create new Alarm, as shown here. The Use an existing Alarm option is also provided if an existing alarm could be used:
