Why This Chapter Is Important
Chapter 13, “Building Unbound Applications,” covered the process of building unbound forms. Even an unbound form does not afford you with the maximum amount of scalability. Furthermore, you cannot share with multiple applications the business logic you place in an Access application. For these reasons, you might opt to build an n-tier application. This chapter shows you how to build both logical and physical three-tier applications. It also shows you how to turn a logical three-tier application into a physical three-tier application.
