Exporting a video

In this recipe, we will record the output generated by an Alice project and we will save the resulting video file. Alice will render all the frames for our animation and will encode these frames in an Apple QuickTime Movie video file. Once Alice finishes the rendering and encoding processes, we will be able to play the video in any device that reproduces Apple QuickTime Movie video files without requiring the Alice environment.

Getting ready

We will use an existing project that animates both a child and the camera that renders the output. This child interacts with a palm tree and a skateboard.
