Defining a light's initial properties

In this task, we will learn to set initial values for two properties inherited from the DirectionalLight class. Because we are going to set the initial values for these properties, Alice will assign these values before rendering the directional light on the scene.

Getting ready

We have to be working on a project with some instances added to the virtual world. Therefore, we will use an existing project that has a stormy sky.

  1. Open an existing project based on one of the six predefined Alice templates. You can open the MyPurplePlanet project saved in the Working with templates to create a new planet recipe.
