Traditional Versus RAD Model for Project Management
The traditional project management model focuses on locking the scope for a project and negotiating or varying the budget (including people and resources) and the delivery date. The PMI and ISO-9000 models for project management are based on this paradigm. In fact, the ISO-9000 definition of quality is derived from the model. Quality here is defined as delivering the scope that was promised, fully functional, on or before the delivery date.
