Chapter 10. Kickoff Meeting

A kickoff meeting is used to synchronize the team’s efforts and to plan and commit to work to be done for an iteration. The goals for an iteration are determined in the kickoff meeting. The relationship between the Kickoff Meeting practice and the Planning Poker practice is shown in Figure 10-1.
