Anatomical topics are introduced first as they are relevant to the biochemical actions of various drugs on aggression. The importance of 5-HT is apparent and a review is presented of the effects of serotonergic drugs on aggression. An outline is also given of the clinical actions of various psychotropic drugs on aggression.
