Identifying Evaluation Stakeholders

We argue that stakeholders may be inextricably bound in terms of connected processes and outcomes. Thus, the client’s growth from coaching has implications for his or her organization; the coach’s professional effectiveness and learning have implications for organizations and institutes that include him or her on their roster of coaches; and clients’ and coaches’ organizations are bound by the implications of successful coaching for their mutual strategic plans and goals. Because stakeholders are participants in a system of learning and performance, the evaluation of coaching should reflect that system quality (Grove, Kibel, & Haas, 2006).
