This chapter has presented a comprehensive reference for many of the popular assessment tools, techniques, and frameworks that are being used by executive coaches today. It appears likely, however, that as the field of executive coaching and the number of coaches continue to grow so too will the tools and techniques that are available for coaches’ use. As noted earlier, care must be taken to discern the validity of the assessment tools and usefulness of the coaching techniques for the particular needs and goals of each client in the context of each unique coaching engagement.
