Support

In this section, we address the next phase of our coaching model: Support. Like alignment, support occurs at multiple levels. Not only is support required for effective partnerships between coaches and coachees, but the organization must support the overall coaching practice to ensure its use as a valuable systemic developmental intervention. Once again, this is best achieved by creating and maintaining a true partnership between coaches and organizations. In this section, we will begin with how organizations and coaches can partner to support the effectiveness of ongoing coaching within the organization, followed by how such a partnership can ensure that each engagement is effectively supported.
