Allen I. Kraut is professor emeritus of management at Baruch College, City University of New York, which he joined in 1989. For much of his professional career, he worked at the IBM Corporation, where he held managerial posts in personnel research and management development, until leaving in 1989. In 1995, he received the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology’s Distinguished Professional Contributions Award, recognizing his work in advancing the usefulness of organizational surveys. In 1996, Jossey-Bass published Organizational Surveys: Tools for Assessment and Change, by Allen Kraut and Associates.
