The purpose of multi-project execution is to have all planned projects finish on time, on budget, and within original scope as quickly as possible.
Assuming that we have a good understanding of the real work needed to accomplish the project (through the network building process) and that the organization has the capacity to quickly execute projects (through controlling the amount of project work in progress), the stage has been properly set for fast, effective execution. You now have about a 25% chance of succeeding. The remainder of your challenge now lies in how you execute the collection of projects.
