What’s New for Worksheets in Excel 2007
The core concepts of Excel are unchanged. It is still the best home for your data, lord of the number crunchers, and master of logic. When it comes to formatting worksheet content, the news in a nutshell is simply that your worksheets can be better-looking and more dynamic than ever before.
The big stories for worksheet formatting are tables and conditional formatting, but there are other key new features as well, including cell styles, mentioned earlier, and the long overdue Page Layout view. Additionally, a great many formatting options are nicely exposed on the Home, Page Layout, and View tabs, giving you easy access to some handy tools that you might have missed in the past.
