Using Headers and Footers

As introduced earlier, a Word document contains four types of headers and footers. In addition to the regular header and footer, First Page, Odd Page, and Even Page headers and footers are available to your document.

Unique first-page formatting is also available for page borders, as you can see in the Apply To list available on the Page Borders tab of the Borders And Shading dialog box, shown here.
