Split-Horizon in EIGRP
Split-horizon in EIGRP network can be a bit confusing. Following is a short example. Going back to basics, split-horizon is a loop prevention rule, which states that a router should not advertise a route through the interface it learned the route on. Take a look at Figure C-5 for an example.

In this figure, Router A is advertising the 192.168.10.0/24 network to Routers B and C. The numbers indicated on the links between the routers represent the bandwidth configured on the links rather than the total metric or some other measurement.
