This is a book about visual effects compositing in general, and about Adobe After Effects in particular. If you use After Effects, the goal is to help you composite believable shots from elements that were not shot together, and to do it with less effort. This first section of the book focuses on the “less effort” part, offering a jump-start (if you’re new) or a refresher (if you’re already an After Effects artist) on the After Effects workflow.
