In the old days, photographers taking their films to a lab to be processed would often have the choice of several different photo edges. You could get your photos printed edge-to-edge or with a white border. Rough edges were popular for a while, as was printing with the negative showing. In this tutorial I’ll show you how to replicate some of those effects, as well as the popular ‘Polaroid transfer’ look. The edges are easy to apply digitally and the results can be stunning.
