Liquify Filter

The Liquify filter allows you to pull and push on an image as if it were printed on Silly Putty. The results you get out of this filter will either be obvious (looking like a reflection in a funhouse mirror) or not noticeable to the untrained eye. It all depends on your intentions. When you choose Filter > Liquify, you’ll see a dialog that dominates your screen (Figure 11.117). Later you can play with the more extreme uses of the Liquify tools and conjure up special effects to your heart’s content, but for now let’s use a more real-world approach. The incremental changes will be subtle, so pay close attention to the captions for each figure.
