This book is divided into two parts. Part 1 provides an introduction to scripting Adobe® Photoshop® CS2 on Mac OS® and Windows®. Part 2 is a complete reference of the objects and commands in the Adobe Photoshop CS2 JavaScript type library.

Part 1, “Photoshop Scripting Guide,” introduces scripting terminology, concepts, and techniques. It has the following sections:
