Step 10—Interpret Colors

This step and the previous one might sound very similar, but the approach used and the potential results are quite different. In this case we'll apply a Hue/Saturation Adjustment Layer and isolate different colors by choosing a color from the Edit pop-up menu at the top of the dialog box (as described in Chapter 10, “Color Manipulation”). This is performed after the last step because this one has the potential to really mess with the colors in unusual ways and it would make straightforward color adjustments (like the ones in the previous step) more difficult.
