Dust & Scratches

The Dust & Scratches filter uses the same technology as the Median filter, but it adds a Threshold setting to determine which shades in your image should be affected by the filter. A setting of zero will allow the filter to apply to the entire image, and will therefore work exactly like the Median filter. Raising the Threshold setting will limit the changes to areas that are similar in brightness. The general idea here is to start with a Threshold of zero so you work on the whole image, and then adjust the Radius setting until the noise in the image is gone.
