Closing Thoughts
If you read this chapter and felt like you were drowning in details, try a few of the techniques, then come back and read it again, and things will start to gel. It may take you a while to become truly comfortable with sharpening your images, but it's well worth the time because you can transform your flat and lifeless images into ones that are lively and ready to pop off the page. I'll leave you with one very important piece of sharpening advice: Oversharpened images never look good, so if you are ever unsure of how much sharpening to apply, always err on the side of conservatism.
