Swatches Palette
The Swatches palette is designed to store colors that you can use again and again. You can choose how you'd like to view the swatches by choosing either Small Thumbnail (Figure 1.33) or Small List (Figure 1.34) from the side menu of the Swatches palette. To paint with one of the colors stored in the Swatches palette, move your cursor over a swatch and click the mouse button. Your foreground color will change to the color you clicked. To change your background color, hold Command (Mac) or Ctrl (Windows) while clicking any swatch.
