Preparing the HTML version

Many simple print publications translate well to HTML, but because there are significant differences between HTML and print, republishing print-oriented documents in HTML usually requires some modification. You can use PageMaker to adapt print-oriented publications for HTML without programming HTML code, but the capabilities of HTML still determine how faithful the conversion will be to the original design. Also, because PageMaker is capable of creating publications for print or online distribution, you can do many things in PageMaker that cannot be done using HTML.
