Placing a Kodak Photo CD image

You start working on the catalog by placing a Kodak Photo CD photograph on the cover. A Photo CD stores an image in several standard resolutions for popular uses, such as computer display or reproduction on a printing press. PageMaker chooses a high-resolution version by default, but you can specify a new size and resolution as you import the image into PageMaker. You can apply your changes to the original Kodak Photo CD file, or you can save the settings with the image in CIE Lab TIFF format. The CIE Lab color model contains device-independent color information that can reproduce color accurately on a PostScript Level 2 or later printer.
