About the Curator
Sharon Milne grew up wanting to be a mathematics or art teacher, as she enjoyed both subjects. But with the advice of her high school career counselor, she embarked on other lines of work, including sales and human resources. Meanwhile, her interest in digital art forms began to flourish and in 2006 she became attracted to vector art and then Adobe Illustrator. She enjoyed creating vector art from stock images and adding small details, building up to stylized, detailed portraits; conceptual artwork; and quirky animal illustrations. She became an active member of the vector community, sharing the artwork of others to inspire, and also creating amateur tutorials for those just learning.
