Add Photos to a Collection

The advantage of syncing collections is that you’re not just pushing pixels from the computer to the tablet. Adding photos you’ve imported into (or captured using) the iPad can be done manually or automatically. In Lightroom mobile, tap the button in the lower-right corner of a collection’s thumbnail (which looks like ellipsis points: “...”) to reveal options that include these two import actions:

• Add from Camera Roll is the same action you take when creating a new collection within Lightroom mobile. Tap to select photos to add, and then press the Apply button (the checkmark).

• Enable Auto Import sets that collection as the target to automatically bring in any new photos added to the Camera Roll since you last used ...
