Copy or Move Photos Between Collections

I’m also stretching the definition of sharing to include the ability to move or copy images between collections. It’s helpful if you want to build a smaller sub-collection of images on the iPad. For example, you could view all photos in a collection marked as picks and copy them to a new collection to be used as an impromptu portfolio.

1. Open a photo in the Loupe (to work with just one image), or open a collection in the Grid (to work with several images).

2. Tap the Share button in the upper-right corner of the screen.

3. Choose Copy To or Move To.

4. If you’re sharing from the Grid, select the photos you want to copy or move by tapping them. To share just one photo from the Loupe, skip to step 6.
