Saturation and Vibrance

Saturation and Vibrance can add richness and pop to images that appear a little drab, but be careful not to overdo them. It’s easy to step over the line from great to garish. As with Contrast and Clarity, these two adjustments differ primarily in their approach. Saturation affects the intensity of all colors in a photo, whereas Vibrance works on muted colors to prevent clipping of already-saturated colors. One of the biggest advantages of Vibrance becomes obvious when you’re working with a photo that has people in it, as it does a good job of preserving skin tones.
