Flag Photos as Picks or Rejects

Lightroom mobile doesn’t support star ratings, but you can set the flag of a photo as a Pick or a Reject (or leave it unflagged). In the desktop version of Lightroom, I’ve long used ratings to identify the good images from the bad, so I’m a little disappointed that only flags appear in the mobile incarnation.

However, I’ve found that it’s also an advantage: I now use flags to mark photos that I want to revisit in Lightroom desktop. When I’m looking at the shots in Lightroom mobile, I don’t have to expend any extra attention deciding star ratings or color labels, making for a faster review pass. And when I’m perusing the Grid, I filter by Picked to hide rejected and unflagged shots.
