I remember the day it happened. I left work early to see a demonstration of the new Adobe Creative Suite at the Apple Store in SoHo. It was the first time Adobe was offering its major print products—Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat, and the relative newcomer InDesign—as a package. Yet it was a single feature out of that 90-minute, standing-room-only presentation that was my InDesign epiphany, laying the true path to productivity before me.
