Applying Effects

Effects are commands that change the look of an object. It’s easy to turn two-dimensional artwork into three-dimensional shapes using the 3D effect, apply drop shadows and much more. Effects are live, which means you can apply an effect command to an object and then continue to modify the effect’s options or remove the effect at any time using the Appearance panel.
