Exporting a layered file to Photoshop

Not only can you open layered Photoshop files in Illustrator, but you can also save layered Illustrator files and then open them in Photoshop. Working with layered files between Illustrator and Photoshop is very helpful when creating and editing Web graphics. You can preserve the hierarchical relationship of the layers by selecting the Write Nested Layers option when saving your file. You can also open and edit type objects.

Now you'll adjust the Text layer and then you'll export the file, change its color mode and save it in layered Photoshop format so that you can edit it in Photoshop.
