Wrapping type around a graphic

You can make type wrap around any graphic object in Illustrator. To complete the column layout, you'll wrap the left column of type around the bottom leg of the figure.

In this example, we've added an unpainted object around the leg in the bitmap image so that you can control the way the type will wrap around the figure.
