A1: To fill an object with color, select it and select the Fill box in the toolbox. Then do one of the following:
  • Click a color in the color bar in the Color palette.
  • Drag the color sliders or type in values in the text boxes in the Color palette.
  • Click a color swatch in the Swatches palette.
  • Select the eyedropper tool (), and click a color in the artwork.
  • Drag and drop an appearance thumbnail onto a shape in the artwork.
  • Choose Window > Swatch Libraries to open another color library, and click a color swatch in the color library palette.
