Working with ActionScript

Good design is only half the battle when creating rich media documents. Often a program—code, if you will—is required to make some action happen within the document. Unfortunately, it is at this juncture that many designers quit because they’re intimidated by or even afraid of code. But ActionScript is such a versatile and widely deployed language that there shouldn’t be much to worry about in terms of assimilating the technology.
