Chapter 13. Iterative Build and Release

As with the design and development phases, the build and release process occurs iteratively throughout the project. As new code and content is created and integrated into the application, a new build will need to be created, tested, and deployed.

At first glance, this iterative process appears relatively straightforward. You create a new build, and your team tests the build and tracks and fixes issues; then another new build is created. This process occurs over and over until all the features are done and the issues are fixed. But, as your project moves along the spectrum from smaller-sized to larger-sized, this process can become more complex and time intensive.
