Chapter 14. Using Non-Flash Graphics

Adobe Flash CS3 Professional’s drawing tools are powerful and flexible, but you may prefer the tools offered by another vector graphics program—Adobe Illustrator or Adobe FreeHand, for example. Or you may want to use artwork created in Adobe Photoshop or include scanned photos or other bitmaps in your Flash document. Fortunately, you can import those graphics into Flash, and improvements in Flash CS3’s importing features make the import and translation process smoother and more reliable.
