First and foremost, Fireworks is a graphics application for creating and editing Web graphics. It performs many other tasks as well, especially in CS4, but the Web is still its primary focus—be it for creating mock-ups, editing screen resolution images, exporting graphics to Flash, or optimizing and exporting to CSS and HTML.
