9. Mobile

Authoring a site for mobile devices involves many of the same steps as a website, but with a few extra considerations. There are thousands of mobile devices on the market, each with different screen sizes, technologies, and other subtle nuances. Supporting the mobile web or a mobile app is not trivial, but AEM provides the capabilities to do it. This chapter investigates the ways in which AEM manages mobile websites and mobile apps.

How to create a mobile site

1. From the AEM home page, click Websites (or click the Websites icon from the AEM Toolbar).

2. Click the New button on the toolbar and choose New Site from the drop-down menu.
