If your Web site is just a handful of pages, you can manage the content on each page more or less independently. That is, you can open each page, one at a time, and edit content.
However, when your site is more complex than just a few pages (and most are), you’ll find Dreamweaver’s features for managing embedded site content essential.
Dreamweaver allows you to create page elements, such as navigation bars, page banners, icons, and bits of text (for example, a copyright notice), and then embed these elements in any of your site’s pages.
